farm and community gardens manager
Directly supervise the Farm & Community Gardens Coordinator and the Produce Specialist
Oversee the harvesting, processing, packing, storage, and distribution of produce from Beardsley Farm and partner sources such as Second Harvest Food Bank
Coordinate the Seed and Plant Distribution Program, including greenhouse maintenance, seasonal seedling propagation, seed distribution process, and more.
Supervise and train staff, interns, and volunteers in farm, garden, and produce distribution activities
Represent Beardsley Farm through email, phone, outreach events, and other public-facing communications

Farm and community gardens coordinator
Support the Farm & Community Gardens Manager with all farm and community gardens activities, including the management of volunteer and interns
Maintain the grounds at Beardsley Community Farm, including planting, weeding, harvesting, irrigation, crop rotation, soil health management, and pest and disease control
Support the Seed and Plant Distribution Program, including greenhouse maintenance, seasonal seedling propagation, seed distribution process, and more.
Support the upkeep of off-site community gardens through mowing, trimming, soil replenishment, communication with gardeners, and regular site visits

EDUCATION SPECIALIST (PART-TIME)
Support the Education and Outreach Manager with scheduling, public communications, and event coordination
Lead regular garden and cooking lessons, nature-based activities, and structured garden time at partner locations
Assist with the maintenance of educational gardens at partner locations, including schools and after-school care facilities
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate educational programming at Beardsley Community Farm, including field trips, tours, classes, interactive games, and garden-based activities for diverse age groups
